"All the world's a stage." Shakespeare's popular pastoral comedy about love, disguises, swapped gender roles, and banishment into the woods comes to the Sunshine Coast in July 2026!

Auditions:
Sun Feb 22 or Mon Feb 23, 6-9 pm,
St Hilda's Church Hall, Sechelt

To sign up for an audition, please email coastshakespeare ( at ) gmail.com and specify which evening you prefer. If you cannot make either evening, a Zoom audition may be possible by appointment.

While you prepare, check out our Resources page! Coming soon: an edited script, audition sides (recommended passages from the script), and much more. March 2026: Individual cast member meetings with directors, to discuss character, language, and Shakespeare's world. April-June 2026: Cast rehearsals on Sunday afternoons and Wednesday evenings in Sechelt, with dress rehearsals in the last week of June. Shows July 3-12 in the Rockwood Pavilion, Sechelt.

CoastShakespeare Fairy Band in Concert, Sun Feb 8th!

Come hear our own Fairy Band Renaissance musicians from our Shakespeare plays, perform a concert of all-Renaissance music! Sun Feb 8th, 4:30 pm, St Hilda's Church, 5838 Barnacle St, Sechelt, BC. $20 suggested donation or pay what you can at the door. Our Fairy Band and RenFriends Singers join with the SunCoast Viols & BC Viols, and special guests Caitlin Beaupre, Janice Brunson, Simon Gidora & Isabella Perron.
